Effortless fall look with drugstore products

It’s an overcast Wednesday in Toronto. I took a walk to enjoy the fall atmosphere and decided to play with makeup.

It doesn’t take a lot of products to throw together an elegant look! For complexion, I used a medium coverage soft matte foundation and warmed up my face. I swept on bronzer and blush in less than a minute.

I did two super easy eye looks. One is basic winged liner with a base of rose gold eyeshadow. Two eye products is all it takes! (Technically three if you count mascara)

If you’re sick of black eyeliner, it’s totally possible to make your eyes pop without it! All you need is a shimmery shade for the inner corner, a deeper shade to give some dimension, and a good mascara.

I’ve been loving the Zoeva Spice of Life palette. It’s perhaps my favorite palette from a Boxycharm, and the formula is fantastic. These colors don’t look very special in the pans, but they go on very rich on the eyes.

In my last makeup post, I mentioned the NYX Super Cliquey glossy lipsticks. Cherry Cola is my perfect plum shade. This formula melts beautifully into the lips, but the darker shades can get messy.

I’ve also been loving this trial size Marc Jacobs mascara in their At Lash’d formula. It gives my stubby lashes impressive length and curl. I have a couple other high end trial size mascaras to try. Let me know if you have one that you swear by!

I’m off to make some hot chocolate and get lipstick all over my cup!

Stay cozy, stay safe
