So you’ve just got home from a hectic day and got almost no time at all to get ready for evening plans. Or maybe you’ve been lounging at home all day, blinked twice, and only have 15 minutes to get ready! I’ve never been much of an online shopper until just recently. Between work, chores, socializing, and me-time, who has the time to physically go to stores when you’re just a click away? Still, some things I prefer buying in-store, like things that really need to fit. However, I’ll be sharing what I’ve been saving time by buying online lately.
I’m one of thooose people who gets into the Holiday spirit the day after Halloween. Around this time of year, I become even more of a dramatist/romantic. December is an extra festive month for me. My birthday is early in the month, and it’s Christmas two weeks later. This week, I’ll be sharing some must-haves to looking and feeling glam!
I had been planning to do the monthly OOTD post, but I caught a cold and I’m feeling too icky to take pictures of myself. Since my first Timelessly trendy clothing combinations post was well received, I decided to do another one with more cold weather appropriate outfits.
I don’t consider myself to be extremely fashionable. I don’t scour the runways for inspo, keep up with magazines, or stan designers. I don’t meticulously put together outfits every morning. Instead, my fashion motto lately has been “beauty from within” or “try to look effortless.” This week, I’ll be sharing a few easy tricks on how to look and feel put together.

I’ve been wanting to build one for a while….but it’s hard to do without specific guidelines. But now I have two- the dress code at my work is all black or mostly black. PLUS, the building is kept very chilly.
Have you ever had an outfit you wore so often that it would be your default look if life were a cartoon? There’s just something about that certain clothing combination that draws you in. You love wearing it and love seeing it on someone else. This week, I’ll be sharing quite a few combinations I never tire of. Potential fashion inspo ahead!
The anarchist in me is ranting about how the purpose of dress codes is to keep all workers the same. We’re all equally disposable and replaceable. There is nothing special about us as individuals, so we should just keep our heads down and work. However, the realist in me recognizes that workplace culture can make or break a company. And dress codes are a part of that culture. This week, I’ve come up with several tips to not feel like a robot in dress code.
If there was one word that describes me, it would be “duality”. I often feel like my life is cinematic reel of highs and lows. And the month of July had been riddled with them. It was difficult picking four outfits that really represented July since I’ve been all over the place with work, weekend trips, and casual days. So in the theme of duality, I’ve chosen two formal outfits and two casual ones.
